History
The History of the Aerocet Inc., as told from their perspective:
We are floatplane people with a tremendous background in composite aircraft structures and utilized that knowledge to produce a composite float, which has exceptional value and the qualities that the industry has sought after for many years.
We came into this market knowing that in the past, other composite floats had failed miserably. Those floats had failed mainly from improper use of materials in construction or the hydrodynamic design of the floats led to less than desirable performance. These failures left a stigma that has taken some time to overcome. It has been over eleven years since we received certification and the critics and skeptics alike have come to appreciate the hard working value of our floats, especially the industrial user.
The performance and durability of Aerocet floats has proven to be unmatched. We encourage anyone looking to purchase a new set of floats to seek out and talk to those who own or operate a set of Aerocet floats. They would have a wealth of knowledge about the differences between our floats and floats they have flown in the past and could answer any questions you might have in an unbiased manner.
As we develop new models of floats, we continue to seek out opinions from owners and operators as to what they would and would not like to see in our products. The 3400 amphibious float has recently been certified and the 5700 Beaver float will follow. If there is any indication from the success of our 3500 series, they should prove dominant in their respective markets.
